With more than two decades of experience in the communications industry, I've created award-winning material for audiences across multiple print and online platforms.
Before entering the world of public relations and marketing, I managed six Central Florida magazines and worked at several newspapers, including the Orlando Sentinel and Culpeper (Va.) Star-Exponent. I also served as marketing director for the Associated Press Managing Editors and was the APME’s Virginia chapter president. In 2016, I earned my MBA, with honors, from the Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business.
My writing has appeared in the Chicago Tribune, San Francisco Chronicle, Richmond Times-Dispatch, Houston Chronicle, Tampa Tribune and Rollins College alumni magazine, among dozens of other publications.
Away from work, I enjoy swimming, being active in church, studying personal growth material and watching my kids play sports. (That's my youngest, Cade, rounding the bases.)
